It's been quite a long time since I've posted anything on my blog but I wanted to share some exciting news and keep you up to date!
Recently the husband and I have been seeing what I call the most amazing doctor of our time, Dr. Sajel Patel. She is by far the sweetest and most dedicated infertility specialist that I have ever known and in my opinion THE BEST! As most of you know, I have had my ups and downs with fertility as well as my in's and outs with surgery. This time I will be going in for surgery for what is a minor fix but all in all for the greater good! It's my last but certainly not least leg of the process. This mini surgery takes place in 2 1/2 weeks!
Dave and I are excited as we prepare ourselves for IVM which will take place 4-6 weeks after surgery. IVM is (Invitro Maturation) for those of you who are inclined to google! I would explain in detail but it's much too complicated so here's my version. (Its like traditional Invitro or IVF except IVM is more natural in the respect that I won't need all the crazy medication that causes things like mood swings, depression and cancer) we decided this together after speaking with Dr. Patel, she mentioned I would be a perfect candidate after speaking with the doctors on her team and reviewing my blood work.
We are happy, hopeful, patient and most of all excited! We know that deep down there's always a chance that it may not work, so at this time we are cautious with putting all our eggs in one basket. Together it's been such an emotional ride watching everyone we know get married, then fall pregnant and have children. These people are so happy and so rewarded with such beautiful blessings that we just can't wait to be blessed as well! #BABYDUST
